Free ski guiding for guests
Add another dimension to your Le Ski holiday Fed up with always being in charge of the piste map? If this strikes a chord, come to the meeting place each morning and let our team of guides show you the most amazing runs, the softest snow and speediest lifts in the area. There are two groups in each resort - fast and leisurely - and whichever you choose, you’ll be led around the incredible Espace Killy or extensive Trois Vallées without having to stop and wonder which way to go next. Our guides also know which restaurants do the best tartiflette, steak & chips, hot chocolate or vin chaud.
A social way to ski Our free guiding groups are a great way to socialise with guests in other chalets, whether you’re on your own or with friends. The groups meet up at lunchtime in our favourite restaurants, giving you the opportunity to swap for the afternoon, depending on how you feel after a hearty lunch and a glass of the local wine! Guiding isn’t intended to be a replacement for ski lessons though and is aimed at confident red run skiers and above. Details of the ski schools we recommend appear on pages 42-43. Please also see our ski guiding booking conditions section.
Full details of the week’s guiding programme will be in your chalet but here’s an idea of what to expect in each resort.
Courchevel Our guiding service covers the whole of the extensive Courchevel Valley, plus a full day trip to Méribel and a mammoth Three Valleys tour, skiing as many of the 300 runs in this incredible area as possible.
Val d’Isère Guiding here includes a trip (often literally!) down the infamous Solaise bumps, the Grande Motte Glacier, the mysterious Aiguille Percée, as well as an end-to-end tour of l’Espace Killy, if you’ve the legs for it.
La Tania Get a different perspective on the Courchevel Valley from here. Tours include a visit up and over to Méribel and the Three Valleys expedition with the possibility of a visit to the 4th Valley, Orelle.
