Competition winner
Congratulations to Ralph Roscrow of Edinburgh for winning our recent competition in conjunction with Ski New Generation. He now has 2 free ski lessons to use on his forthcoming Le Ski holiday. And he is very chuffed - as well he should be!

Surrealist artist Salvador Dali is to be honoured this winter when 14 of his sculptures will be displayed in and around Courchevel for the entire season. The exhibition aims to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Spanish artist's death.
The majority of them will be dotted around resort, with one sculpture being placed at the top of La Vizelle, at a cool 2659m altitude!
As well as Vizelle, there'll be sculptures at the top of Chenus at 2240m, in place du Rocher, the tourist office square, the place du Forum and at La Croisette. There will also be sculptures in the warmth of the tourist office chalet, the Espace Diamant an Forum.
The Dali sculpture exhibition in Courchevel starts on the 5th December 2009 and will run until the 24th April 2010...or until they've all been pinched?!

NEW CHAIRLIFT IN COURCHEVEL 1650...
It has been confirmed that the old Roc Mugnier chairlift which brings you back into the Courchevel 1650 ski area is being replaced. From December 2009 there will be a fast 6 man chair whisking you to the top of the mountain. it will deposit you next to the Signal and Chapelet chairs so you can either ski back to 1650, down the excellent red run Chapelets or just slink off to the Bel Air restuarant for a hot chocolate!

We're delighted that the brother and sister owners of these superb chalets have surprised us all by fitting an outdoor hot tub on their shared terrace. It's great news for those who've already booked into these chalets and an added incentive to those considering them to hit the 'BOOK NOW' button...

Le Ski are voted 3rd Best Ski Company by readers in the Guardian & Observer travel Awards
More than 13,500 readers of the Guardian and Observer newspapers voted in the annual travel survey, now in its 21st year. This year the awards were presented at a ceremony in Seville on 27th October 2007.
The Observer said 'We're delighted to see Le Ski take third. 25 years since it started, its success lies with the quality of the chalets and the friendliness of staff.' Thanks!
We're absolutely delighted to be placed 3rd Best Ski Company in such prestigious awards. Interestingly, first and second places went to cross-country specialists Waymark and Inntravel. So technically we were voted Best Downhill Operator !! Thanks readers...
